Carys Williams
Drama & Movement Therapist
Creative Therapy
If your child is struggling with issues such as trauma, bereavement, anxiety, or an important transition, creative therapy offers an alternative to talking therapy.
Creative therapy is client-lead, ensuring each child's therapeutic journey is adapted and tailored to suit their individual needs.

How it works...

My work is underpinned by a firm belief in the power of the arts and play in therapy.
Children are given the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings in a confidential and imaginative way, held safely within the context of the therapeutic relationship.
Through play, drama, stories and art, children are encouraged to find new ways to approach any difficulties they may be experiencing.
Children are seen for a 50 minute weekly session, on a one-to-one basis. The length of the therapy will depend on the issues requiring attention - the work can be time limited or open-ended.
Sessions take place in Finchley, London.
Please get in touch to discuss how I may be able to support you and your child.
